On the road to success at blue automation - a career characterised by passion and vision

Kevin Spörl, an outstanding young electrical engineer, will be celebrating his 5th anniversary at blue automation, a renowned company in the field of industrial automation solutions, this coming October. His impressive journey to this pioneering company began five years ago and has been characterised by dedication, personal growth and the realisation of his passion.

Entering the world of blue automation was not a spontaneous decision for Kevin. After a successful start to his career at a well-known automotive supplier and an outstanding 1.0 apprenticeship as an electronics technician, he decided to study electrical engineering at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences. Whilst he was a full-time student during the week, he found the energy to work at his training company at the weekends. However, his career took a turn when the company he was working for was sold during his fifth semester. He could no longer identify with the new owners and saw no further development potential for himself there. As a result, he began looking for a new company that offered him the opportunity to complete his studies and finish his thesis.

Kevin's connection to blue automation deepened when he moved in with his girlfriend in the Westerwald region and started looking for suitable companies from there. An online application was enough to arouse the interest of the Managing Director, Thomas Grahl. During the interview, Kevin could already sense the harmonious chemistry and realised that blue automation could be the ideal place for his professional development. His recruitment as a working student marked the start of an exciting journey.

During his time at blue automation, Kevin discovered a deep passion for the automation industry. Since childhood, he was fascinated by 3D modelling and graphic design, which was later reflected in his inclination towards programming. One notable moment was his experience in the production department. There, he realised the impressive impact of software and automation on industrial manufacturing - a moment that solidified his career path.

At blue automation, Kevin has done pioneering work in the field of simulation and VIBN. These innovative technologies are now firmly anchored in his area of responsibility and are considered his personal hobbyhorse. Not only has Kevin been instrumental in the development and implementation of these ground-breaking solutions, but he has also made them his "baby" by being passionate about developing and perfecting them. His expertise and dedication in this field have helped blue automation to be an industry leader today and his work has had a lasting impact on the company.

Looking to the future, Kevin is determined to continue to grow alongside blue automation and drive the company's success over the next five years. Even five years ago, when he started at the company, he dreamed of being exactly where he is today. His partnership with Thomas Grahl, Managing Director of blue automation, has always given him confidence and support, fuelling his ambitions.

Enthusiastic about the development opportunities and the enormous potential offered by the automation industry, Kevin is firmly convinced that he would make the same decision again and again. He appreciates the benefits offered at blue automation, such as an excellent work-life balance, the support of the management team and the opportunity to realise his creative visions.

The ideal job for Kevin has undoubtedly been realised at blue automation. His hobbies are seamlessly merged with his job and he can dedicate himself to continuous professional development. The variety of tasks and the constant challenge of learning something new make his day-to-day work at blue automation a continuous source of inspiration.

In Kevin's own words: "I have turned my hobby into my profession! At blue automation, I was not only able to contribute my technical knowledge, but also my creativity and passion for automation. The opportunity to be part of a growing team and actively contribute to the success of a company fills me with pride and motivation."
